What We Are Learning In Math?!

Hello Parents And Students! :)

This page is a key of what we will be learning throughout this fulfilliful and exciting year! Enjoy

September To October= In the beggining of the year we will recover some of the numbers by counting by 2's, 4's, 8's and 10's! We will even learn some Before & After (e.g. Whats Before 98?) we will of course have alot of Formatives and get you guys ready for the Summitive!

October To November= In this month, we will learn how to add digits below 10! Of course we will not use the algorithm of putting them under each other. We will have some Formatives and as usual 1 Summitive.

November To December= In this month, we will learn how to add numbers HIGHER than 10 in a couloumn using the algorithm of putting them UNDER EACH OTHER. We will even learn a LITTLE of measurment. And have 1 formative for measurment but alot of Formatives for Addition and of course the Summitive!

December To Janruary= In this month, we will learn how to Subtract numbers from each other. Not using the algorithm of putting them UNDER EACH OTHER. We will also learn about patterns and we will of course have Formatives for both and 2 Summitives 1 for patterns and 1 for Subtracting.

Janruary To February= In this month, we will learn how to subtract numbers from each other but by using the algorithm of putting the numbers in a coulmn and under each other! We will have the SUMMITIVE!

February To March= In this month, we will take a small glimps of what multipcliction we will have formatives BUT OF COURSE NO SUMMITIVE.

March To April= We have nothing drastic this month, we just have one BIG test "The Cummilitive Test" of everything we have recovered so far in math so I may see what you guys dont know and I will sit with you during recess and teach you how to do it in a better way!

April To May= In this month, we will learn how to multiply numbers in a coulmn, we will have no formatives nor summitives. I just care if you understood the procedger.

May To June= Nothing drastic this month, we will only have the biggest test ever. Our LAST Cummiltive we will have Adding, Subtracting, Patterns, Multiplying, and messurment! And most importantly get ready for SUMMER! :)

Sincerly,

Mary Morrison
